At a guess it does look like the rear of a 1936...'ish Morris Eight which had the spare wheel on the rear panel.


My Dad had one of these and during the Summer weekends we would regularly go up this hill in the mid 1950's. The bend at the bottom coming up is especially tight even now for a modern car.


Ironically i now live just around the corner from here...

This down time has allowed me to catch up on some photo processing. These photos date from before 1914.First couple are what now is the throne room.next is Keep entrance and last is Palace Gate
