Title: New Medway Steam Packet Company

This building was recently featured in a Guess the Place post. Here it is pictured during the war and housing The New Medway Steam Packet Company which owned and operated many vessels, with the Medway Queen being one of them.

I believe it is still trading as a registered charity as The Medway Queen Preservation Society.

Smiffy,remember this building very well,any one remember the beautiful ship models often seen in the window display ,somewhere in the vicinity was the offices of Knights towing company,who often displayed tug models ,often wonder about he fate of those models?

I'm pretty sure Knight's were on the corner of Bingley Road, opposite the North Foreland. As you say, I wonder what happened to all of those models?
