We get the Spitfires almost daily through the Summer months here at Upchurch and Brother in Law at Bapchild often sees them as well. During the Folkestone air show weekend the BofB Flt. Lancaster flew right over our house at about 300 ft.

There are many Spitfires operating from Biggin these days. There is also a Me109 and until recently the only 2 seat Hurricane. Spitfire 'experiences' also operate from Headcorn sometimes. A Merlin is the sound of Summer over here!

Passing Spitfires are quite commonplace up here on the Downs.

However just now one did a circuit, picked up speed and performed a Victory Roll right above me. It then banked and turned about and headed off quicker than the usual steady flight, heading for Biggin?
